Brother-in-law, cousin murder man over 'rape' allegations

Police in Ghaziabad have arrested three men and detained a minor in connection with the murder of 32-year-old Jitendra Chauhan. His body was discovered on April 10 in a drain in Chiranjeevi Vihar, bearing four bullet wounds. Investigations revealed the accused, identified as Gaurav Kumar and Bobby Pal with his two sons, were motivated by alleged past assaults on their female relatives.
Gaurav reportedly told police that Jitendra had attempted to rape his sister two months prior and had also targeted their mother two years ago. The tension escalated when Jitendra allegedly humiliated Gaurav at a recent prayer gathering. The motive for revenge reportedly intensified when Jitendra allegedly made advances towards Bobby Pal's daughter-in-law.
