Ghaziabad: Charred Body Found in Burnt Auto

In Ghaziabad, police made a grim discovery on Wednesday: a charred body inside a burnt auto-rickshaw in the Tronica City area. Locals alerted authorities after spotting the vehicle engulfed in flames. Upon investigation, officers found skeletal remains within the auto, suggesting the victim was killed elsewhere and the body was subsequently set ablaze to obscure their identity. The vehicle itself was almost completely destroyed by the fire.

Authorities have sent the remains for a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death and aid in identification. A forensic team and dog squad were deployed to the scene. Preliminary findings indicate the recovered number plate, UP 14 PT 5862, belongs to an auto-rickshaw owned by a youth from Dabar Talab Colony in Loni, who has reportedly been missing for several days. His family is unaware of his current whereabouts.
