Authorities in Georgia have issued a Levi's Call, the state's equivalent of an Amber Alert, for a missing 13-year-old girl. Layla Alexis Nubian Carter was last seen around 1 a.m. on James Drive in Baxley, Georgia. She is believed to have been abducted by 32-year-old Giavannie Alexis Carter.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation considers the child to be in extreme danger. Layla is described as 5-feet-2-inches tall, weighing 100 pounds, with braided blonde hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a T-shirt and pajama bottoms. Giavannie Carter is 5-feet-2-inches tall, around 140 pounds, and was last seen in a gray and white tank top, black shorts, and a black baseball cap.
Authorities are searching for Layla and a gray Jeep Renegade with the license plate SLU9322. Anyone with information is urged to call 911 or the Baxley Police Department at (912) 367-8305.
