Fugitive Hunt: Police Seek Woman with Distinct Tattoos

The Walton County Sheriff's Office is actively searching for Isabelle Rose Johnson, 38, who is wanted on suspicion of murder. Her alleged involvement stems from the death of Jason Christopher Coulthart, whose remains were found buried in a shallow grave last month. The sheriff's office released new photos on July 28, 2026, focusing on Johnson's unique tattoos to help the public identify her. These include a rose tattoo on her left hand and a large scorpion tattoo extending down her left thigh. Authorities believe Johnson may have altered her appearance by changing her hair color or style. Johnson is known to use multiple aliases and has connections to Walton and Okaloosa counties in Florida, as well as areas in Georgia and Alabama. She is also known to manipulate people for financial or transportational assistance.

Coulthart was reported missing on May 24, 2026. His body was discovered on June 25, 2026, on a property off Sunset Lane in Freeport, Florida, following an investigation by the Niceville Police Department. The grave was reportedly covered in concrete and located under a black Cadillac, with a large white zip tie found around the victim's neck. The District 1 Medical Examiner's Office confirmed the remains belonged to Coulthart through DNA testing on July 9, 2026. The Walton County Sheriff's Office is offering up to $16,000 for information leading to Johnson's arrest. Five other individuals have already been charged with accessory after the fact to a capital felony in connection with this case.
