A 21-year-old fugitive, Daniel Boakye, has taunted authorities in a drill rap video posted online following his second escape from custody in less than a week. Boakye, also known as rapper DSavv, was serving a sentence of six years and five months for armed robberies.
Boakye initially escaped from HMP Feltham while on a hospital visit. Although recaptured, he evaded police again days later after fleeing from another hospital appointment. The online video appears to show him smoking cannabis and bragging about his freedom.
He references breaking out of jail and directly mocks the police and government. Boakye was jailed in July 2023 for orchestrating robberies with accomplices that targeted over £155,000 in cryptocurrency between 2021 and 2022.
Authorities are actively pursuing Boakye and have released his image to aid the search. Several individuals were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender but were later released on bail. The Home Office stated that Boakye's deportation to Ghana is still being pursued.
