Fresno Shock: Bodies Found on School Roof and Canal
1 Aug
Summary
- A body was discovered on the roof of Fresno High School.
- A second body was found in a water canal outside the city.
- Both deaths are being investigated as suspicious.

Authorities in Fresno are investigating two separate body discoveries that occurred within hours of each other on Friday. The Fresno Police Department reported the unsettling discovery of a deceased adult male on the roof of Fresno High School around 11 a.m. The individual's age remains unclear, and the death is considered suspicious due to the location.
Just hours prior, the Fresno County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a body in a water canal near W. Shaw and N. Goldenrod Avenues, west of Biola. Deputies recovered the body of a man from the canal, and his identity and the circumstances of his death are currently unknown. The Sheriff's Dive Unit assisted in the recovery.
These dual discoveries have shaken the city, leading to widespread speculation about foul play and the connection, if any, between the two incidents. Investigations are ongoing for both cases as authorities work to piece together what happened.
