High School Football Coach Arrested in Underage Sex Sting
18 Oct
Summary
- Former NFL player arrested on prostitution and solicitation charges
- Hired as teacher and coach at Centennial High School in 2025
- Fired from coaching role and suspended from teaching position

On October 15, 2025, former NFL running back and high school football coach Herman "Jay" Graham III was arrested for allegedly attempting to have sex with an underage girl. According to police reports, the 50-year-old Graham responded to an ad on an adult website and began messaging with an undercover officer posing as a 16-year-old girl. The two reportedly agreed on a price of $120 for sex, and Graham was arrested once he arrived at the hotel to meet the "girl" and made the payment.
Graham was hired by Williamson County as a substitute teacher and coach at Centennial High School in Franklin, Tennessee, in July 2025 and was promoted to a full-time teaching position the same year. The school's principal, Dr. Clarissa Haymon, has since confirmed that Graham has been fired from his coaching role and suspended without pay from his teaching position.
The incident has understandably caused significant concern within the Centennial High School community. Haymon has assured parents that counselors will be available to meet with students, and she has encouraged anyone with additional information to contact law enforcement.
