Kannur City Police have successfully apprehended two foreign nationals in New Delhi for their alleged involvement in manufacturing and supplying MDMA across the country. The arrests were made in Burari, New Delhi, following an extensive investigation initiated by a police team from Kannur.
The investigation originated from the seizure of a small quantity of MDMA from an individual named Rajinas in New Mahe. This led authorities to uncover a wider network, eventually leading to the detention of the Nigerian and Cameroonian nationals.
Further inquiries revealed that drugs were being trafficked to Kerala from Delhi using parcel services. This information prompted Kerala Police to collaborate with their Haryana counterparts, leading to additional arrests and seizures of MDMA.
The operation involved tracing intermediaries and individuals who allegedly facilitated the drug mafia by arranging SIM cards, fake documents, and bank accounts. The police team spent approximately ten days in Delhi to track and arrest the alleged manufacturers.
