Lynn Marie Zamora, 32, has been arrested and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon following an incident on July 13. The arrest affidavit states that Zamora became irritated with her friend because she wanted to consume a beer inside an Uber. When informed that drinking alcohol was not permitted in the vehicle, she allegedly retrieved scissors from her purse. Zamora then reportedly stabbed the victim in his left bicep and left calf, causing injuries that broke the skin. The victim received treatment for his wounds at a local hospital. The Uber driver present during the incident confirmed the events as described. Uber's guidelines strictly prohibit open containers of alcohol. Zamora was held on a $7,500 bond and appeared in court on July 14.
