Isabelle Johnson, 38, has been apprehended by authorities in Walton County, Florida. She is accused of murdering 43-year-old Jason Christopher Coulthart, whose body was discovered in a shallow grave.
Coulthart was reported missing on May 24, 2026, having last been seen leaving the College Condominiums complex. Unidentified remains were found on June 25, 2026, on a Freeport property, later confirmed through DNA to be Coulthart's in July 2026.
Investigators described Johnson as a 'master manipulator,' alleging she employed various disguises and identities to avoid capture. She faces charges for Coulthart's murder.
In addition to Johnson, five other individuals have been arrested. Two of these are accused of actively aiding Johnson in her efforts to evade law enforcement.
