Summary
- Man met woman on dating app, lured her to Miami apartment.
- Victim and daughter barricaded themselves until police arrived.
- Suspect charged with false imprisonment and strangulation.

A 34-year-old Florida man, Saady Castellanos Triminio, was arrested on Saturday, facing charges of false imprisonment, battery by strangulation, robbery, and child neglect. Triminio allegedly met the victim through a Facebook dating app and persuaded her to travel from Orlando to Miami with her three-year-old daughter for his birthday. The plan, however, quickly turned sinister upon their arrival at his apartment.
The victim expressed unease about the apartment's unsanitary conditions and Triminio's demeanor. When she declined his advances, he reportedly became enraged, preventing her from leaving. He is accused of taking her phone and covering her mouth and nose, causing her to struggle to breathe.
She managed to retrieve her phone and, with her daughter, barricaded herself in another room. Police arrived and noted visible bruises on the victim. Triminio is being held at the Miami-Dade County Jail on a $7,500 bond and has an immigration hold. The incident serves as a stark warning about the potential dangers of online dating and meeting strangers in person.
