In Firozabad district, the 'Navin Adarsh Thana Dakshin' was inaugurated virtually by Director General of Police Rajeev Krishna. This event signifies a major stride toward implementing modern, citizen-centric, and effective policing strategies. The DGP emphasized that police stations are crucial for building trust between the public and law enforcement, with improved infrastructure directly enhancing service delivery.
The new police station is designed to serve a substantial area of approximately 85 square kilometers, encompassing a population of around 5 lakh. Its jurisdiction includes six police outposts, numerous religious sites, financial institutions, and educational centers. The facility is a G+3 building outfitted with contemporary amenities such as administrative offices, a Mission Shakti center, a cyber help desk, investigation rooms, and barracks.
Further enhancing its capabilities, the station includes a crèche for female personnel, specialized women's safety provisions, modern anti-riot equipment, and a fully equipped cyber help desk. Ample residential accommodation for approximately 180 police personnel has also been ensured, reflecting a commitment to improving the living and working conditions for the force.
