Two individuals have been hospitalized following an assault that occurred recently in Ferryhill, County Durham. The incident prompted a large-scale emergency response, with multiple ambulances, police units, two fire engines, and two helicopters converging on Parker Terrace. The road was consequently closed in both directions while emergency personnel attended to the injured parties.
The Great North Air Ambulance Service confirmed that their teams worked alongside the North East Ambulance Service to assess and treat the two patients. These individuals were subsequently conveyed to a hospital by an ambulance crew, with accompaniment from the air ambulance medical team. Fire and rescue services also attended, deploying units from nearby stations.
