Darren Anthony Robinson, 56, has been added to the FBI's "Most Wanted Fraudsters" list, with a reward of up to $150,000 offered for information leading to his arrest. Robinson is wanted for his alleged involvement in an international investment fraud and money laundering scheme connected to QYU Holdings, which purported to be a professional investment company trading foreign currency.
Court records indicate that QYU Holdings defrauded investors of an estimated $100 million. Robinson, identified as the founder and principal operator, allegedly used investor funds to enrich himself and his associates, rather than for legitimate trading. A federal arrest warrant was issued for him on January 11, 2024, after he was charged with 11 counts of wire fraud and one count of money laundering.
Robinson admitted to investigators that his representations to investors were false and that he created fictitious trading data. He fled the country in November 2023, cutting off his GPS tether. The FBI believes he has traveled internationally. The scheme primarily targeted retirees, parents saving for college, and business owners, with dozens of victims identified in Michigan.
