11 Feb
Summary
- Nancy Guthrie, mother of TV host Savannah Guthrie, vanished from her home.
- FBI released surveillance footage of a masked, armed person of interest.
- Investigators suspect two individuals may be involved in the abduction.

Nancy Guthrie, the 84-year-old mother of broadcast journalist Savannah Guthrie, was reported missing from her Tucson, Arizona home on January 31, 2026. The FBI has recently advanced the investigation by releasing surveillance footage of a person of interest in her suspected abduction.
The recovered video and photos, obtained from residual data after the recording device was removed, show an armed individual wearing a ski mask and gloves outside Guthrie's residence. Investigators noted distinctive features visible through the mask, such as eyebrows and potential facial hair.
Evidence suggests the individual concealed the doorbell camera and appeared to gesture to an accomplice. This has led some investigators and the public to believe that two people were involved in removing Nancy Guthrie from her home.
