A significant forensic advancement has been made in the ongoing investigation into the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie. The FBI has confirmed that a glove recovered near the scene contains a DNA profile that appears to match the gloves worn by the unidentified subject captured on security camera footage. This subject was seen lurking near Nancy Guthrie's front door, wearing a mask and carrying a holstered gun.
The recovered glove was found in a field along a road about two miles from Guthrie's residence. While investigators collected approximately 16 gloves in the area, most belonged to volunteer searchers.
