FBI Pledges Full Support in Nancy Guthrie Case

Six months after Nancy Guthrie was reported missing, U.S. Attorney General Todd Blanche affirmed the FBI's commitment to assisting the investigation. The FBI has pledged to provide any resources necessary, including manpower and forensic expertise, to support the Pima County Sheriff's Department, which is leading the case.

Nancy Guthrie, 84, was last seen at her Tucson-area home on January 31. Despite doorbell footage showing a masked individual near her residence on the night of her disappearance, no suspect has been identified. Authorities continue to work diligently on the case.

Adding to the family's distress, ransom notes have emerged suggesting a grim outcome for Nancy Guthrie. One note indicated that she had died and been buried in a natural setting, while another did not specify her condition but also made no demands for payment.

Attorney General Blanche acknowledged the public's frustration and shared the grief and difficulty surrounding the unsolved case. He assured that the FBI's role is to ensure the investigation is conducted thoroughly and correctly, working collaboratively with state and local law enforcement.
