A fatal altercation erupted in Shilphata on Thursday, January 29th, stemming from a disagreement over a car rental deposit. The dispute, which occurred near Regal Hotel, led to one man being stabbed and another abducted.
The victim, Mohammad Faisal Matiullah Sheikh, had rented a vehicle from prime accused Saif Ali Khan. An argument ensued when the deposit was allegedly not returned. Sheikh arrived with friends to discuss the matter, where they were confronted by Khan and his associates.
The confrontation quickly turned violent, resulting in Aman Sheikh being stabbed and Abu Talib sustaining injuries. Following the attack, the accused allegedly abducted Sheikh, robbed him of Rs 5,000, and threatened him before fleeing.
