Actress of Deceit: Faked Pregnancy, Stole Infant

Taylor Rene Parker engaged in an elaborate deception for nearly 10 months, pretending to be pregnant to prevent her boyfriend from leaving her. This charade culminated in a brutal crime in October 2020. Parker targeted Reagan Simmons Hancock, who was seven-and-a-half months pregnant. She subjected Hancock to a violent attack, stabbing her more than 100 times and crushing her skull with a hammer. Following the fatal assault, Parker used a scalpel to remove Hancock's unborn baby from her womb. The newborn was later pronounced dead after Parker claimed to have given birth roadside. During her investigation, detectives discovered Parker had befriended Hancock, even photographing her engagement and wedding. Parker's deception included faking ultrasounds and hosting a gender-reveal party. In October 2022, Parker was convicted of capital murder for the heinous crime and subsequently sentenced to death. Her appeal for a new trial was denied in 2025.
