On Sunday, a startling incident unfolded at the Lucknow Civil Court when a 23-year-old man, identified as Gufran, was apprehended for allegedly impersonating a lawyer. Gufran, a resident of Topkhana Bazaar, arrived at the court premises dressed in a lawyer's robe and proceeded to the third floor. He then presented himself as an advocate and began pleading a case.
His suspicious behavior and apparent lack of knowledge regarding standard court proceedings quickly drew the attention of observing lawyers. Upon questioning, Gufran was unable to produce any valid Bar Council registration or supporting documentation, solidifying the suspicions against him. Promptly alerted by the legal professionals, the Wazirganj police arrived and took the imposter into custody.
