Ashley Evans, a 36-year-old former prison officer, has been sentenced to 40 months imprisonment for a series of child sex offenses. During his sentencing at Northampton Crown Court on December 12, Evans also admitted to attempting to cause a child to watch or look at an image of sexual activity, as well as possession of cocaine. His conviction carries severe consequences beyond his prison term.
