Michael McKee has been extradited to Ohio, arriving at the Franklin County Jail on Tuesday. He is accused of the aggravated murder and burglary of his ex-wife, Monique Tepe, and her husband, Spencer Tepe. The couple was found dead in their Weinland Park home on December 30th after Spencer's coworker reported him missing from work.
Investigators identified McKee as the suspect using neighborhood video surveillance, which reportedly captured his vehicle arriving shortly before the shootings and leaving soon after. Evidence indicated McKee owned the vehicle, which was later located in Illinois. He was arrested on January 10th and waived his extradition hearing in Illinois, paving the way for his return to Ohio to face the charges.
