Inmate Alleges Jail Guard Planned Epstein Death Cover-Up
9 Mar
Summary
- Prison guard overheard discussing covering up Epstein's death.
- Inmate claims guard Tova Noel mentioned a cover-up plan.
- New allegations fuel questions about Epstein's official cause of death.

A recent FBI report reveals an inmate's claim that a prison guard overseeing Jeffrey Epstein on the night of his death was overheard discussing a cover-up. The inmate reportedly heard a female voice, identified as guard Tova Noel, state, 'If he's dead, we're going to cover it up.' This statement allegedly occurred as officers attempted to resuscitate Epstein in his New York City jail cell on August 10, 2019.
Noel and another guard, Michael Thomas, were initially charged for falsifying records related to their rounds that night but later had charges dropped. The inmate's account, while unconfirmed, casts fresh doubt on the official determination of Epstein's death as suicide. A forensic pathologist hired by Epstein's estate suggested his injuries were more consistent with strangulation than a suicidal hanging.
Further scrutiny has focused on Tova Noel, including unusual cash deposits into her bank account prior to Epstein's death and Google searches for 'latest on epstein in jail' minutes before he was discovered. Noel denied recalling these searches in a 2021 interview. She was allegedly the last correctional officer to approach Epstein's unit that night.
