A forensic pathologist hired by Epstein's estate suggested his injuries were more consistent with strangulation than a suicidal hanging.
Further scrutiny has focused on Tova Noel, including unusual cash deposits into her bank account prior to Epstein's death and Google searches for 'latest on epstein in jail' minutes before he was discovered. Noel denied recalling these searches in a 2021 interview. She was allegedly the last correctional officer to approach Epstein's unit that night.
