However, moments before Rajkumari was set to leave the hospital, a violent altercation broke out between her and her son, Sanjeev Sinha, who had come to visit her earlier that day. According to hospital staff and local witnesses, the argument soon turned physical, and Sanjeev allegedly assaulted his mother so brutally that she collapsed on the floor of the hospital room.
The hospital authorities immediately alerted the police, who reached the spot and detained Sanjeev.
