Elderly Couple Murdered Over Land Dispute

In Khawa Pokhar village, Shravasti district, an elderly couple identified as Mohammad Roshan, 80, and Wasila, 60, were discovered dead on Sunday morning under mysterious circumstances. Roshan's body was found inside their ancestral home, while Wasila's body was located nearby with severe injuries, indicating a violent struggle. The discovery has sent shockwaves through the local community, prompting an immediate and thorough police investigation.

Preliminary inquiries strongly suggest that the murders are connected to a three-month-old dispute concerning a 30 sq ft commercial plot in the Ikauna market.
