An AutoZone store in East Los Angeles became the target of "mob-like" burglaries on consecutive days last weekend. The initial incident occurred around 2:20 a.m. on August 8, when an unidentified suspect broke a glass door and entered the store with approximately 10 others. This coordinated break-in resulted in substantial losses and damage to the business.
The same AutoZone store was targeted again the following morning, around 3:30 a.m. on August 9, amid another street takeover. Authorities believe some of the same suspects and others were involved in this second, similar burglary. Investigators have released 27 photos of individuals, comprising both males and females, whom they believe participated in these crimes.
Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding these burglaries or who can identify any of the suspects to contact the East Los Angeles Sheriff's Station. Anonymous tips can also be provided through Crime Stoppers.
