Drunk Driver Hits Elderly Pair in Restaurant Lot

A tragic incident unfolded in a Kerrville restaurant parking lot when a 90-year-old woman and her 71-year-old son were struck by a vehicle driven by Jessica Noel Patterson, 43. The collision occurred in the McDonald's parking lot on Sidney Baker Street. Patterson was reportedly driving while intoxicated at the time of the incident.

Authorities have arrested Patterson, who now faces serious legal consequences. She is charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and one count of driving while intoxicated, according to court records. The 90-year-old victim sustained severe injuries and was airlifted to a hospital in San Antonio for treatment. Her son was treated for his injuries at the scene.
