Summary
- Groom Sujal Samudre (22) seriously injured in knife attack
- Assailant Raghav Bakshi fled on a bike, but was tracked by drone
- Dispute over DJ payment may have sparked the attack

On the night of November 10, 2025, a wedding celebration in Amravati, India, took a shocking turn when the groom, Sujal Samudre (22), was attacked on stage by a man named Raghav alias Ragho Jitendra Bakshi. The incident, which was captured by a drone camera hovering overhead, unfolded as Sujal was accepting greetings from guests along with his bride.
According to eyewitnesses, around 9:30 pm, the accused, Raghav, rushed towards the stage and stabbed Sujal three times on his left thigh and knee with a sharp knife. Sujal sustained serious injuries, and his mother and bride were reported to have fainted at the scene. The drone operator reportedly followed Raghav's vehicle for nearly one kilometer, recording every movement, before the assailant managed to flee.
Sujal was immediately rushed to RIMS Hospital in Amravati, where doctors said his wounds were deep but his condition remained stable. The attack appears to have stemmed from a dispute over payment for the DJ services, according to sources. Raghav's mother, Preeti Bakshi, has lodged a counter-complaint alleging that the groom's friends vandalized their house and set their bike ablaze.
