A shocking incident unfolded in Telangana's Sangareddy district where a man, Anjaneyulu, took his own life after allegedly murdering his wife, Yedamma. The couple, married just 11 months ago, had been experiencing marital issues.
Reports indicate that Anjaneyulu was incensed because his in-laws had not fulfilled a promise to gift him a motorcycle. This dispute culminated in a violent confrontation at a mango orchard where the couple worked.
During the argument, Anjaneyulu reportedly strangled Yedamma with a saree. Realizing the gravity of his actions and the likelihood of facing legal consequences, Anjaneyulu then proceeded to hang himself from a nearby tree. The Sangareddy police have initiated an investigation into the double tragedy.
