In Boothgarh village, authorities are investigating a tragic double suicide. A 31-year-old architect died by consuming poison on Sunday, reportedly after facing severe mental stress due to alleged harassment and threats. His mother filed a complaint against Navjot Kaur, a married woman and distant relative, accusing her of abetment to suicide.
The architect's family claims Navjot continued to contact and harass him, demanding money and threatening to accuse him of rape. This alleged pressure contributed to his death. The situation escalated tragically on Monday when the architect's 23-year-old wife also died by suicide.
Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the wife's death are ongoing. Police have not recovered any suicide notes in either case. Autopsy reports confirm both individuals died after ingesting a poisonous substance. Raids are being conducted to apprehend the accused woman as the investigation continues.
