Two Indians Gunned Down Outside Italian Gurdwara

Two Indian nationals were tragically killed in a shooting incident late Friday night in Covo, located in the province of Bergamo, northern Italy. The victims, identified as Raginder Singh, 48, and Gurmit Singh, 48, were exiting a warehouse that was being used as a place of worship for a Vaisakhi gathering.

Local authorities are investigating the incident as a premeditated attack. The assailant reportedly approached the two men, opened fire, and then fled the scene in a car. Approximately ten shell casings were discovered at the site, fueling suspicions of a targeted killing. Investigators have indicated that the shooting was not the result of a spontaneous altercation but rather a "coldly planned execution."

A witness reported that the alleged shooter was known to frequent the same gurdwara and that a third individual may have been grazed by a bullet. The community is in shock, particularly as the killings occurred just before a Vaisakhi celebration that was scheduled to include local dignitaries and community members.
