DJ Zack Bradley, 37, has pleaded guilty to grievous bodily harm (GBH) for an assault that left DJ Fat Tony (Tony Marnoch, 60) unconscious with a fractured eye socket and broken cheekbone. The incident took place in the DJ booth at the Lido Leisure Centre in Margate, Kent, on December 14, 2024. Bradley was asked to leave the booth but instead attacked Marnoch, punching him twice in the face.
Bradley, performing as Zack Le Nez, appeared at Canterbury Crown Court on Monday and admitted his guilt. He was granted bail, with the judge noting credit for his early plea. A known offender report was ordered to assist with sentencing. The attack left Marnoch hospitalized and has had lasting physical effects, including occasional headaches and muscle weakness on one side of his face.
Marnoch has spoken about feeling vulnerable and requiring security since the incident, emphasizing that house music should be about celebration and love. He expressed relief that the justice system is working, though he is not happy that someone faces prison. Bradley's sentencing is scheduled for a later date.
