Diwali Tragedy: Grain Trader and Accountant Brutally Murdered in Rajasthan

In a tragic incident that has shocked the Mohangarh town in Jaisalmer district, Rajasthan, a double murder took place on Diwali night. According to the police, unknown assailants attacked and killed grain trader Madanlal Saraswat and his accountant, Rewantram, using sharp weapons late on Sunday night. The attackers then fled the scene in Madanlal's Alto car.

Early on Tuesday morning, a temple priest discovered the blood-soaked bodies, prompting a large crowd to gather at the spot. Superintendent of Police Abhishek Shivhare confirmed that both victims were killed on Diwali night. The missing vehicle suggests that robbery may have been the motive behind the brutal attack.

Villagers have expressed anger over the brazen double murder on the main road. Farmer leader Achalaram Jat said, "A tragic incident has occurred in Mohangarh mandi, where a trader along with an accountant was murdered. Those who were celebrating this Diwali festival have been plunged into mourning." To catch the suspects, police have set up blockades on all routes leaving the district, and the investigation is ongoing.
