Cops Nab Reckless Rider After Viral Video

Delhi Traffic Police have taken swift action against a motorcycle rider, identified as Ashu, after a viral video captured his blatant traffic violations. The incident, which occurred on April 3rd near Kotwali Circle, showed the rider engaged in dangerous zig-zag driving without a helmet or valid insurance. Following CCTV verification, police issued a challan for multiple offenses under the Motor Vehicles Act and Central Motor Vehicle Rules. These violations include disobeying lawful directions, riding without a helmet, driving without insurance, dangerous driving, and lacking a valid Pollution Under Control (PUC) certificate. The rider's Instagram handle, 'Saddamshooter', was also noted. As part of the enforcement, Ashu has been directed to attend a mandatory counselling session at the Delhi Traffic Police headquarters. Furthermore, the vehicle's Registration Certificate (RC) has been digitally impounded, underscoring the seriousness with which these road safety breaches are being treated.
