26 Nov
Summary
- Two individuals, a man and a minor, were arrested for park shooting.
- An ongoing dispute over a woman led to the firing incident.
- The accused attempted to flee Delhi on a motorcycle.

A 22-year-old man and a juvenile associate were arrested in east Delhi's Kalyanpuri on Monday for allegedly firing a pistol in a park, causing minor injuries to a victim. According to witness accounts, the shooter approached the victim from a park entrance and fled on a motorcycle with his accomplice. This incident is believed to have originated from a verbal dispute over a woman that occurred approximately one week prior.
Investigators revealed that the primary suspect, Ankush, is also implicated in another firing incident on the same day, targeting an associate of a known local figure. Police successfully intercepted Ankush and the minor as they were attempting to leave Delhi on the motorcycle. A firearm was recovered from Ankush's possession during the arrest.
Ankush has a history of four previous criminal cases, while the apprehended minor has also been detained. The police investigation into the full extent of their alleged criminal activities is ongoing, with authorities continuing to gather evidence related to both incidents.
