According to Neha's statement, the couple had been in a relationship for nearly a decade. In November, she became pregnant, and Yashpal allegedly orchestrated an abortion. This act reportedly led to escalating conflicts between them.
On December 16, a heated argument culminated in Yashpal allegedly stabbing Neha multiple times on the neck with a knife. He then fled the scene, taking her phone and locking the house. A neighbor alerted the police, and Neha was taken to the hospital, where she is receiving treatment. The accused was apprehended the same day and is now in judicial custody.
