Delhi Labourer Murder: Brutal Attack Over Drinks
22 Dec
Summary
- A labourer from Bihar was found murdered on a Delhi road.
- An argument over drinks led to a fatal assault with a brick.
- One suspect arrested, another identified as an eyewitness.

A man identified as Mukesh Rai, a labourer hailing from Bihar's Banka district, was discovered deceased on a road in northwest Delhi's Prem Nagar area last week. Police were alerted to the situation via a PCR call reporting an unconscious, wounded individual on Mubarakpur Road.
Upon investigation, it was determined that Mukesh had been drinking with two associates at a nearby stock site when an intoxicated argument escalated. The victim sustained blunt force injuries, indicative of an assault with a brick. Both associates, Munsi Rai and Vishu Rai, had fled the scene.
Through technical surveillance and human intelligence, police tracked the suspects' movements, determining they had fled towards Bihar by train. Munsi Rai was subsequently arrested upon his return, while Vishu Rai was identified as an eyewitness who attempted to de-escalate the quarrel before fleeing in panic.
