A violent altercation in Kalkaji, southeast Delhi, tragically resulted in one death and one injury in the early hours of Sunday, September 20, 2026. The incident, reported around 12:03 AM, stemmed from an argument between residents of the ground and third floors of a building located at L-8, Ground Floor. The dispute rapidly escalated from words to a physical scuffle.
Two brothers, Manjeet Singh alias Bunty and Dilbag Singh, sustained injuries during the fight and were transported to AIIMS Trauma Centre. Manjeet was pronounced dead at the hospital, while Dilbag is currently receiving medical treatment for his injuries, including a fractured leg and nose. Dilbag reported arriving late at night to find his brother deceased and alleged he was attacked when confronting women at the scene.
Multiple police teams have been mobilized to meticulously examine all available CCTV footage. Their primary objective is to identify and apprehend all individuals implicated in this deadly confrontation. Legal proceedings are underway as authorities continue their investigation into the sequence of events that led to this fatal incident.
