The crimes occurred in September 2017 when the accused, then around 70, allegedly lured two minor girls with chocolates. In January 2018, an eight-year-old girl from the same area went missing. The man actively participated in the search and even accompanied the victim's grandfather to the police. Eight months later, he was arrested.
Investigations revealed the eight-year-old girl was sexually assaulted and then strangled, with her body found in a well. The postmortem report detailed numerous abrasions and contusions. Witnesses reported seeing the man washing blood-stained clothes, which police later found stained on a metal grain container. The court praised the investigation, highlighting how a small clue led to the accused.
