- Former co-host withdrew race and sex discrimination claims.
- Mutual agreement reached with broadcaster and employer.
- Undisclosed sum paid to settle tribunal case.

A former Channel 5 News presenter has withdrawn all allegations of unfair dismissal, discrimination, and harassment against her co-host Dan Walker. The presenter, who co-hosted a program with Walker between 2022 and 2023, reached a mutual agreement with broadcaster Channel 5 and its employer ITN.
This agreement led to the formal conclusion of employment tribunal proceedings in London. The terms of the settlement were not disclosed publicly. However, it was confirmed that an undisclosed sum was paid to the presenter.
Walker stated he felt he should not have been involved in the proceedings but was prepared to defend himself. A spokesperson for Channel 5 and ITN both expressed their pleasure that the matter was resolved and reiterated their denial of the claims.
The presenter left Channel 5 News in 2024. Walker, who previously worked for the BBC, joined Channel 5 News in 2022. Both ITN and Channel 5 confirmed no admission of liability was made.
