Palamu DC Dilip Pratap Singh Shekhawat officially inaugurated an exhibition-cum-sale event for these diyas. He personally purchased 132 diyas, totaling Rs 1,320. Following the purchase, the DC generously gifted these diyas to Vatsalya Dhaam, a local facility dedicated to children with disabilities, including conditions like cerebral palsy and muscular dystrophy.
Shekhawat expressed his belief that all children deserve equal opportunities for celebration. He noted the zeal and passion displayed by the children in conflict with the law through their diya-making efforts. By gifting the diyas to Vatsalya Dhaam, he aimed to share happiness and ensure that children with disabilities also had the chance to experience the joy of Diwali.
