Cousin Kills Man, Severs Head in Suspected Revenge Attack in Madhya Pradesh

On the night of October 14, 2025, a gruesome murder took place in Neemkheda village of Sagar district, Madhya Pradesh. A 28-year-old man named Shubham Dangi was brutally attacked, shot dead, and then beheaded by his 45-year-old cousin, Surendra Singh Dangi.
According to the police, Surendra suspected Shubham of having an illicit relationship with his wife. Acting on this suspicion, Surendra, along with his two sons, a woman, and another man, ambushed Shubham near his house. They first beat him with sticks and rods, and then Surendra allegedly shot him. Even after Shubham fell to the ground, the attackers reportedly severed his head using a sharp weapon, leaving his mutilated body at the scene.
Shubham's brother, Ranveer Dangi, rushed to the spot to rescue him, but the accused opened fire on him as well. Ranveer sustained a bullet wound in his stomach and is currently in critical condition at a nearby hospital.
The police have registered a murder case against Surendra Singh Dangi and four others. They are conducting searches to apprehend the absconding accused. Forensic teams have collected evidence from the crime scene, and Shubham's body has been sent for a post-mortem examination.
This brutal incident has sent shockwaves through the Neemkheda village, and the authorities are working to ensure the perpetrators are brought to justice.
