A couple has been charged with the murder of Jamal Parker, a beloved Atlanta bartender. Mario Andre Barber, 46, and Brittany Amber Baker, 42, have pleaded not guilty to the murder of the 37-year-old victim.
Parker's dismembered remains were discovered on May 15 in the Dog River Reservoir, located approximately 30 miles outside Atlanta. Investigators identified Parker after releasing images of his tattoos and utilizing DNA comparison.
The suspects allegedly killed Parker at a house on Langdale Chase Street. Authorities were observed removing a reciprocating saw and cleaning supplies from the property.
Parker was described by his father as "loved by everyone" and a "beautiful soul and spirit" who enjoyed life, art, and creating new drinks. His family is seeking justice and punishment for the accused.
