On 2025-11-08, a tragic incident occurred in Badlapur, Maharashtra, where a 44-year-old man was allegedly strangled to death by his wife and her lover. According to the police investigation, the victim, Kishan Parmar, had discovered his wife Manisha Parmar's illicit affair with their neighbor, Lakshman Bhoir. This led to frequent fights between the couple.
On the night of the incident, Manisha and Lakshman are accused of strangling Kishan with a rope, resulting in his death on the spot. In an attempt to destroy evidence, the duo wrapped the body in a bedsheet, transported it to Badlapur, and threw it into a nearby river before fleeing the scene.
The incident came to light on 2025-11-06, after which the police began an investigation and launched a search to trace the accused. On 2025-11-07, the police recovered Kishan's body and sent it for a postmortem examination. A case has been registered under sections 302(1) (murder) and 201 (destruction of evidence) of the Indian Penal Code, but no arrests have been made yet.
