Michael Chadwick Fry, a 41-year-old Texas man, has been arrested and charged with abuse of a corpse. The incident occurred on March 16, when Fry allegedly stole human remains from a mausoleum and subsequently threw them onto the grounds of an FBI field office in Dallas.
Authorities were alerted by Fry's mother, who reported that her son requested a U-Haul to move a body. Fry reportedly confessed to wanting to get the FBI's attention by throwing "Elizabeth's remains" over the fence. He claimed this action was intended to 'summon' the FBI, believing they needed to intervene in alleged misconduct by Denton County officials.
Investigators discovered that Fry uploaded videos to YouTube documenting his actions, including one titled 'We send Elizabeth over the FBI fence to summon them by force.' The videos also showed him with a human skull, identified as 'Elizabeth Virginia Lyon,' though the exact identity of the remains in the bucket thrown at the FBI is still under investigation. Fry is currently held in Denton County Jail on a $30,000 bond.
