Woman Stabbed to Death, Suspect Killed by Police

A woman was fatally stabbed during a domestic dispute early Thursday morning in Corona, California. Responding officers from the Corona Police Department encountered the suspect, who was armed with a knife, at an apartment complex on Stoneybrook Drive. The situation escalated, and officers discharged their firearms, resulting in the suspect's death at the scene.

First responders found the victim with multiple stab wounds. Despite efforts to provide medical treatment, she was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. The identities of the deceased victim and suspect are being withheld pending notification of their next of kin. An investigation into the stabbing and subsequent police shooting is being conducted by the department's Investigative Services Division, Riverside County's Force Investigations Detail, and the District Attorney's office.
