During the confrontation, Adoor and his companions raised an alarm and resisted the attackers. This resistance caused the assailants to flee the scene. However, one suspect, identified as Conen Shamim Siddiqui, was apprehended by bystanders at the location.
Authorities have registered a case against 17 individuals, including Saurabh Thombare and Siddiqui, under various sections of the Indian Penal Code.
