Comedian's Café Targeted in Violent Attacks: Bishnoi Gang Claims Responsibility

In a concerning series of events, Kapil Sharma's café in Surrey, Canada has been the target of three separate shooting attacks over the past few months. The latest incident occurred just last week, on October 12th, 2025, when unidentified gunmen fired multiple shots at the restaurant.

According to local reports, a post allegedly from an aide of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for the attack and warned the "general public" to stay away. Videos circulating online showed the bullets hitting the café's walls and windows, with one clip capturing a man firing at least half-a-dozen shots from a handgun.

This was not the first time Kap's Café had been targeted. The establishment was previously attacked on July 10th and August 8th of this year. In the July 9th incident, a shooter wearing a body camera opened fire at the café while recording the attack. The Bishnoi gang had also claimed responsibility for the second shooting.

Kap's Café is located in a mixed-use building in Surrey's Newton area, with retail outlets on the ground floor and residential apartments above.
