Summary
- College student died by suicide jumping from apartment.
- Photos show her happy and smiling on Halloween.
- Mother disputes police findings of suicide.
A 19-year-old college student's tragic death was ruled a suicide by authorities in Austin, Texas. The student reportedly jumped from the 17th floor of an apartment building just hours after a school football game. She was last heard from when she called her boyfriend shortly before her death.
Newly released photos show the student appearing happy and smiling alongside her boyfriend on Halloween, dressed as a character from 'Wicked.' These images contrast with the official findings, adding a layer of complexity to the circumstances surrounding her final days.
While police maintain that a suicide note was found on her phone, her mother has publicly contested the suicide ruling, expressing disbelief that her daughter would take her own life. The boyfriend's identity in the final call has not been confirmed by police.
