Gang Arrested for Brutal Attempted Murder in Coimbatore

Four individuals were apprehended by Kuniyamuthur police on Saturday in connection with an attempted murder that occurred near Kovaipudur the previous night. The arrested men, identified as residents of Kuniyamuthur, are accused of assaulting three young men with weapons. Two other accomplices remain at large, and authorities are actively searching for them.

Initial investigations suggest the motive behind the attack was a dispute between two of the arrested individuals concerning a love affair. When one of the victims attempted to mediate, he and the other victims were targeted. The assailants reportedly waylaid the victims near a temple before resorting to stabbing and assault. The injured were subsequently hospitalized for treatment.
